    Book Releases: October 2020

If you’re looking for something new to read this fall, you’re in luck. Actually, if you’re looking for something spooky, you’re also in luck – there are quite a few horrors and thrillers coming out in October. Among other kinds of books. Among almost 90 titles.

A little bit different than I usually do on my posts, but I decided with Charlotte that’s actually a more important piece of information. So. A rainbow emoji indicates that the author is LGBT, but not necessarily that the specific rep in the book is ownvoices.

And if you need some more books, you can find all our previous releases posts here.

Book Releases: Twitter’s Anticipated Releases, Or A Look at What 2021 Has in Store

A few months back, I asked people on twitter what five LGBT releases they were most anticipating in 2021. Yes, I know, five was very harsh of me, especially since I couldn’t even keep myself to that few anyway, but hey. You do what you gotta do.

Anyway, I figured I’d turn those tweets into a post, to give you a little bit of a taster of 2021’s releases. Also feast your eyes on the gorgeousness of these covers so far! I cannot wait to see what else is to come.

Finally, a little key (although bearing in mind that it’s a little hard to confirm rep so far out!):

    💗 = wlw rep
    💙 = mlm rep
💜 = trans or nonbinary rep

The first week of August alone gave us a bunch of great songs, and then it only got better!! I’m very excited to share with you my ten absolute favourites, even though it was a hell to choose them. So don’t forget to listen to the whole mix at the end of the post, since it’s almost 60 songs long.

    Book Releases: September 2020

September is a monster month for releases (there are 100+ in this post alone, not to mention any that we might not know about just yet). And also one where, every time I felt I had the list down, I found yet another release. (Not that I’m really complaining, apart from having to edit and re-edit the damn thing so many times…)

So, get yourself a cuppa, and have a scroll!

As ever, you can find all our previous releases posts here and the rainbow emoji indicates an author who id’s as LGBT.

Book Releases: 2020 Sapphic Releases (July to December)

It’s August which means it’s time for PART TWO of 2020’s sapphic releases (part one here). These are all the sapphic releases that I know about from July to December this year (so, usual disclaimer of it not being on here generally means I don’t know about it. Sometimes means I completely forgot even if I did know).

As ever, 🌈 means the author identifies as LGBT. Apologies if I have screwed up a date somewhere — they’ve changed so often I know I haven’t kept track of them all.

For clarification: I have included in this list books where the sapphic character is either the main character/protagonist, has a POV, or is a major character who affects the plot.

    So let’s go!

Music Releases: LGBT songs of July 2020

First week of August is over so that’s a high time for me to let you guys know what songs released last month by LGBT artists did I love the most. Hold on tight, because the whole mix is basically 50 songs long (it’s available at the end of the post), even if I only included the 10 absolute faves in the post itself!

    Book Releases: August 2020

The summer is halfway through, but that doesn’t mean the good times are ending! The days might be shorter and shorter now (in this hemisphere), but that only means your evenings are longer and longer, so you will have more time to read! And oh boy, is there a lot to read in August… Almost 100 books.

Like always, a rainbow emoji is there to tell you a book is ownvoices, in terms of LGBT rep. And if you need some more books, you can find all our previous releases posts here.

Book Releases: July-December 2020 Books With Bi Protagonists

A second part to the post I made at the beginning of the year, where I listed books with bi/pan main characters which were published between January and June (it’s here!). Now it’s time for the second half of the year.

Once again, I want to make some things clear:

    1) I included only books that use the bi & pan labels or, in case of sff ones, that make it clear from context the characters are bi or pan. It’s not always clear-cut but I figured that if you’re looking for bi/pan rep, you’re looking for something concrete;

    2) I did not include books which I wasn’t sure about, because I didn’t want to falsely advertise. If there’s anything I missed that you know for a fact features a bi or pan protag, please let me know!

The rainbow emoji indicates that the book is written by an LGBT author, and just for fun, I also marked YA books with a ✌️ emoji. Please let me know if I missed or mislabeled something!

Book Releases: LGBT YA Books of July-December 2020

You already know about all the LGBT YA books that came out in the first half of the year (and if you don’t, check out my post about them!), so now it’s time for the second half. By now all of you probably know that I usually read YA books, but hopefully some of our readers share my preference and will find something to read among those 90 or so titles.

I tried my best, but of course, I’m only human so if you know of any books I missed, please let me know!

Like always on this blog, the rainbow emoji indicates that the book is by an LGBT author.

Music Releases: LGBT songs of May 2020

From now on, there will be only one post like this per month! I’m officially all caught up with this series! Starting July, I will me making a compilation at the beginning of the month to bring to your attention the songs that came out the month before.

Of course, like always, there are 10 of my absolutely favourite songs with links to their lyric videos below (only a few songs already have music videos) & a mix with all the rest of songs I love at the end of the post.

Music Releases: LGBT songs of April 2020

The whole mix for April is over 50 songs, so the choice of my ten absolute favourites to feature in the post was not easy at all. But for obvious reasons, I wanted to showcase Black artists specifically.

Like always, there are 10 songs with links to their videos (or lyric videos, since we’re getting to actually new stuff finally & not all of them have an mv yet!) below & a mix with way more songs at the end of the post.

    Book Releases: June 2020

It’s almost Pride!! Personally I can’t believe it’s already time for the best month in a year…

A lot of great books is coming out during Pride, but also it’s actually really amazing that Pride isn’t even the busiest month for LGBT releases this year. There are only around 80 and take it from me, guys, that’s number is far from being a record high.

So, without further ado, browse away!

(As always, the rainbow emoji indicates that the rep is ownvoices.)
