A little bit different, just for the end of the year: I’m giving you two months worth of music at once. The November playlist is a little bit late, but in turn the December one is a few weeks early. It all works out! It all makes sense!

Yes, okay, I will admit that I’ve already started watching Christmas movies (and if you want some recs, by the way, maybe check out the two lists I made in recent years: one & two), but I’m capable of multitasking and finding music that’s not yet merry. I might have gone a bit overboard with this one, to be honest, it is almost forty hours long…

The length of those playlists is also slowly getting out of hand, but that is a pretty good problem to have, right? Unless you’re actually like me and only listen to three songs on a loop for a year…

You may or may not know, but we do a hiatus in June to celebrate Pride Month. We figure we do enough during the year to take this month off and let everyone else chip in. I had to make a lot of choices today (we had elections in my country), so as an evening treat I made even more choices and decided which songs should be highlighted in the post itself. Do not ask me what my criteria are for this, by the way: I have no clue. Apart from featuring my favourite songs of the month? And choosing the favouritest of the favourite?

Surely, there are many many more, but at the end of the day I am just one person. That’s why I always ask people to submit their music via email! Anyway, hope you enjoy and find here some new faves.

You will notice, upon opening the playlist linked at the bottom, that I’m changing the format of it a little bit. Which is to say I decided to be including all releases from any given month, so whole albums and such. A song I choose from an album might not be the one you will fall in love with, that’s why I’m doing it this way from now on. The playlists will be a lot longer, but I don’t imagine that’s a problem.

The post is coming late this month, I know, but keeping a tight schedule has been difficult for the last over 60 days. As of yesterday, over 24 thousands Palestinians have been killed and almost 49 thousands are still trapped under the rubble, because of the genocide carrying out by the settler colonial state of “Israel”. I don’t know what to tell you guys. The state of Israel has been bombing Gaza for a month. They murdered over 10,000 Palestinians, committed every imaginable war crime. People are still making art, though, so have some music.
