If you’ve been following our blog for a while, you might be aware that I (Anna) tend to read YA literature. Well, not exclusively, but I sure enjoy it a lot. So for me to make a post solely about YA releases was really just a matter of time…
There are about 100 books listed here, getting publish from Janury to June 2020. Hopefully I didn’t miss anything but as a disclaimer: this is a list of all LGBT YA upcoming books I know about today. For books out between July and December 2020, head over here.
The books are divided by publication month and each has the rep listed (in as detailed way, as we were able to find out). Books by LGBT authors also have a rainbow emoji next to them.

GAH I want to read so many of these! One that you missed is Shorefall by Robert Jackson Bennett, coming out April 21st! It’s the sequel to Foundryside, and as of the first book, the main character is in a f/f relationship (or at least her love interest is female…I don’t know if they count as an official “couple,” but if they aren’t yet, they’ve already kissed and are well on their way, and I have a feeling they’ll get there in this second book). I’m super hyped for that one–Foundryside was excellent and didn’t get nearly as much recognition as it needed!

Eh, it’s one of those that’s technically shelved with adult, but it has crossover appeal. The main character, Sancia, is a teen, though other characters around her are adults. And (to my recollection) there wasn’t any graphic sex or any other excessively mature content–like I don’t think it was any darker than Six of Crows, for example. So it’s in that gray area, ya know?

Thank you so much for this list! I was looking for books to read during this lockdown, and I think I am going to start with Blood Countess. Elizabeth Bathory is such an interesting character, and I love the focus on Anna here.
