    Book of the Month: Infamous

    3 June, 2022

June’s book of the month is specifically for fans of historical romcoms. If you haven’t read Lex Croucher’s Reputation, firstly you should go away and do that, and secondly you should get extra excited for their next book, Infamous. It’s not one you want to miss out on, trust me!

Sorry to anyone on the other side of the pond, though, as you’re going to have to wait until next March for this one (though, there are ways and means of getting hold of it…should you find yourselves (understandably) too impatient).

So, ready to be convinced? Read on!

Book of the Month: The Loophole

    3 May, 2022

For May’s book of the month, we picked one we’re both excited for. I mean, who wouldn’t be highly anticipating a book about a boy, the genie who grants him three wishes, and a romp around the world in search of his boyfriend? You know I’m right.

So have a look at the book below and don’t forget to follow Naz on twitter (and, obviously, preorder)!

    Book of the Month: Mamo

    4 March, 2022

When we made a shortlist of our potential books of the month, Mamo won for two reasons: fewest adds on Goodreads (a travesty), and Anna’s love of it. But, really, this was always going to be our pick, for obvious reasons: gorgeous art, a wonderful story, and a sweet romance. If you’re not excited about this graphic novel, then we can only conclude you hadn’t heard of it before. So take a look at why we think this is the book for you!

And as always, you can, of course, also follow Sas on twitter.

Book of the Month: The Shadow Glass

    5 February, 2022

Another month, another book of the month. This one is one I’m very excited about, an urban fantasy that honestly sounds absolutely wild and I’m so very here for that. Puppets come to life? A quest to save the world from one of your own father’s creations? Tell me more.

You can, of course, find out more by following Josh Winning on twitter. And don’t forget to have a look at why we think this is the book for you!

Book of the Month: Spin Me Right Round

    3 November, 2021

We’re approaching the end of the year now, which makes this month’s book of the month the final 2021 release we’ll be highlighting. And it’s one you won’t want to miss out on, that’s for sure. If you like the same kind of vibes as Back to the Future has, then this book is for you.

    Book of the Month: Tidesong

    3 October, 2021

Another month, another book of the month. October’s selection is a book both me and Anna are looking forward to, the kind of book that seems as though it’ll feel like a big warm hug. And, really, aren’t we all searching for a book like that deep down?

Book of the Month: A Tale of Two Omars

    3 September, 2021

After months and months of fiction for our BOTM feature, for September, we’ve taken a different tack, and selected a memoir. It’s due out in just over a month so still plenty of time to preorder, if you find it’s of interest to you. So take a look, and let us know!

Book of the Month: The Final Child

    3 August, 2021

This month’s book of the month was selected highly democratically (i.e. I said, let’s choose this one and Anna said you do you). I have to admit to already having read (and LOVED) this book, so, yeah, I’m a little biased here when I say this is perhaps one of the best thrillers I’ve ever read. It’s tense and terrifying and you’ll be on the edge of your seat the entire time. It’s one I’d suggest you preorder, and if you scroll down, you’ll find out just why I think that.

(But if that’s got you very excited, I can highly recommend After the Eclipse as well!)

    4 July, 2021

July’s book of the month is a welcome addition to the subgenre of romance that features trans main characters. Book of the Month: The Dangerous Kingdom of Love

    2 June, 2021

We wavered between a few releases for June’s book of the month and eventually settled on this one on account of the number of adds it has on Goodreads. Because we’re fair and scientific like that (in theory). This month’s selection is for all the historical fiction lovers out there, so feast your eyes on it!

Everyone else? Well, best start reading historical fiction, since you won’t want to miss out on this one!

Book of the Month: Blackheart Knights

    4 May, 2021

For May’s book of the month, I badgered Anna into letting me choose a book that’s out in the month, rather than the next month, because I read it and loved it, so now I have to force it all on you.

    (Just kidding.)

But if you’re looking for gay Arthuriana (and aren’t we all on some level), then this is the start of an upcoming mini-boom, and one you really won’t want to miss out on!

Book of the Month: Meet Cute Diary

    6 April, 2021

This month’s book of the month is one you have (hopefully) heard of, but there’s never any harm in just making sure, is there? Anyway, if you’re looking for a sweet summery romance, then Meet Cute Diary will be the book for you, trust me! It’s the fake-dating romcom you’ve always been craving, only it’s even better because it’s overflowing with trans joy.

So sit yourself down in a comfy chair, and check out why we think you should be excited about this one!
