Book Club: An Announcement

We talked about this on twitter already, but of course not all of you lovely people follow us there! (If you want to start, though, let me give you the links: Charlotte & Anna). So we need to talk about this idea on our blog, as well. Especially since it will be happening here! But what, you ask?

A book club!

As you might have noticed, we did four buddy reads during Pride month. And what we learned from that experience is that we love reading books with you guys. So we want to continue doing that!

Only this time, with the proper name of a Book Club, we will be reading one (1) book per month. In the last days of a month we will announce what book we’ll be reading in upcoming weeks & then when the month ends, we will post our reviews and another title. In the meantime, though, we will be chatting about the book! And all of you are invited to do that with us! We actually set up a twitter account just for that, so when you’re done with the book, tag us and let us know what you thought! Or just live-tweet the whole thing, using a hashtag (yes, we will have to come up with one, don’t worry!). Basically: have fun with the book.

Every month, we’ll also set up a poll for genres to read from, because we don’t want to be picking the books all by ourselves. If there’s a particular book you think would be good to read, don’t hesitate to let us know as well! We’re always here for more recs.

And, don’t worry, you’re welcome to dip in and out of the book club as you want! If we’re reading a book you don’t care about, or if you’re too busy, feel free to sit out a month.
