I’m quite proud to say that I’ve watched most of the films recommended here! Also I’d like to add some of my favourite here, Handsome Devil (2016), Call Me By Your Name (2017) and Boy Erased (2018).
As for TV shows, I still need to watch them. But one of my favourites are London Spy, Killing Eve, and Hannibal (pretty dark, this one didn’t explicitly stated about the character’s sexuality but there’s a hint here and there). Have you guys watched those?

tbh we tried to include ones that don’t just hint at sexuality & haven’t been criticised for the portrayal being harmful bc we also don’t feel comfortable reccing them

It’s okay. I understand that 🙂 the show is not for everyone and the sexuality isn’t at all confirmed anyway except for some characters. I will only recommend it if that person is okay with the content of the show.
