Book Releases: September 2021

If you know publishing in any capacity, you probably know September is one of the biggest months in terms of output. Which means, after June (for obvious reasons), it’s the gayest month too, proven by the fact that there are over 125 books due out in this month (apologies to your wallets in advance). So, without further ado, let’s get going!

As ever, you can find all our previous releases posts here and the rainbow emoji indicates an author who id’s as LGBT.

My wallet is suffeeing. I’ve been waiting for quite a few of these gems so I regret nothing!
Quick question though, what does an ‘achillean’ character mean exactly?

    • readsrainbow

      so are ours!

we use achillean as a gender-inclusive umbrella term for male & nonbinary characters attracted to men. in this case, i probably used it because i couldn’t find if that character identified as gay or bi. if you ever have any other questions about rep, we have a glossary as well (though feel free to ask if it looks like we haven’t updated it with all the terms we use!).
